If you need a high protein breakfast to get you going in the morning - THIS IS THE ONE. Both the drink and sandwich together have over 50g protein! And this WHOLE meal takes less than 10 minutes to make.
Protein Coffee
8oz coffee (decaf or regular, hot or cold)
1 scoop protein powder
4oz higher protein milk
4oz water
1/2 tsp caramel extract (optional)
1/2 tsp coconut extract (optional)
sprinkle stevia
Directions
1. Mix together milk, water, protein powder, stevia, and extracts (if using) in a blender until frothy.
2. Add frothy mixture to coffee with ice (if using), stir, and enjoy!
Bacon, Egg, & Cream Cheese Breakfast Sammie
1 whole wheat bagel (I like Kroger brand, but use any brand you like - keep in mind the macros will change)
2 Tbsp fat free cream cheese
2 slices turkey bacon
1 egg
handful arugula
2-3 slices tomato
Directions
1. Cook turkey bacon in the air fryer. It depends on your machine, but mine gets nice and crispy at 400 for 15mins.
2. Cook the egg - I like using my mini Dash for this.
3. Toast the bagel.
4. Time to assemble! Spread 1 tbsp of cream cheese on each half of bagel. Top with egg, tomato slices, turkey bacon, and arugula. Enjoy!
